ANXIETY - FINDING CALM
Is it difficult to relax? We all feel stressed and anxious from time-to-time, but if you suffer from overwhelming and / or persistent stress or panic, it's time to accept help. I will work with you to develop a customized approach for relieving panic and anxiety while managing everyday stressors. By learning a variety of simple stress-reduction techniques and cognitive behavioral skills, we will identify the causes of your anxiety, and help you feel balanced and centered.
Often, the hardest part is reaching out for support. When you're ready, I'm here to help you feel safe and comfortable. Whatever reason may bring you to therapy, I will work with you to understand your needs and be your guide towards self-improvement, connection, joy and balance.
I am trained in evidence-based treatment methods such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness meditation, Art Therapy and other cutting-edge integrative modalities to support you. I offer a free phone consultation and accept some insurance.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions are 45-60 minutes in length and take place once a weekly basis. The initial session is a biopychosocial interview to gather information on how I can best support you. From there, sessions will be focused on your needs and goals. I offer a free phone consultation and accept some insurance.
