Relationships are what humans do. Conflict is normal in every relationship, but withdrawal, isolation, low-self worth and unhappiness as a result of constant relationship conflict doesn't have to be your reality!
I provide personalized options to foster understanding, connection and resilience. Through a structured approach, I help couples navigate transitions and ineffective communication and behavioral patterns. I collaborate with partners to generate practical strategies to strengthen connections, reduce isolation and deepen meaningful change. I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative provider and work with all couples.
After assessing the root of conflicts, we quickly begin learning the communication skills and relationship tools needed to improve daily interactions. Take the first step toward moving your relationship down the path of reconnection, love, intimacy and friendship.
I am trained in evidence-based treatment methods such as Relational Life Therapy (RLT- Level One with Terry Real), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness meditation, Art Therapy and other cutting-edge modalities to support you. I offer a free phone consultation and accept some insurance.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sessions are 45-60 minutes in length and take place once a weekly basis. The initial couples therapy session is a biopychosocial historical interview as couple (with both partners present). I will then meet with each individual alone to gather more personal information. Form there, we will come back together and start an informed, successful course of treatment.
